What is this course?

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is an integrated Indian degree in the medical field. This course is designed to train students in the systems of traditional Ayurveda and modern medicine. The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects including anatomy, physiology, principles of medicine, social and preventive medicine, and forensic medicine, all through the lens of Ayurvedic philosophy. Graduates are recognized as doctors and can practice in government or private hospitals or start their own clinics.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year.
  • Academic Qualification: 12th grade (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
  • Minimum Marks (PCB): 50% aggregate for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
  • Entrance Exam: NEET UG qualification is mandatory.
